Featured Plants
Purple Love Grass
Native to eastern North America, Purple Love Grass grows in low dense clumps. Great in containers or naturalistic plantings and ranging from blue to green to purple in color. It is low maintenance and drought tolerant once established.
Featured Plants
Red Switchgrass
Green foliage with red tips turns wine-colored in the fall. An underused native species with open, airy blooms that are beautiful in dried flower arrangements. Very drought tolerant once established.
Featured Plants
‘Richard’ has unique rounded foliage with an indentation at the tip almost creates a heart shaped leaf. At first glance, it’s unusual shaped foliage and glossy texture make ‘Richard’ easily mistaken as a non-boxwood. The plant’s habit is very vase shaped and slightly wider than tall. It is part of the harlandii family of boxwood that are thought to have come from southeast Asia or China. Deer resistant.
Featured Plants
Black-Eyed Susan
Resistant to the Septoria leaf spot! Thanks to the thinner and hairier leaves, this hybrid Rudbeckia shows no signs of the fungus even in wet, humid conditions. A dome-like habit of golden yellow flowers with black centers are produced heavily from midsummer to early fall.
