Nurseries in Connecticut, Virginia, and North Carolina have had container and/or field product quarantined. Based on lab research, most cultivars tested showed various degrees of susceptibility to the pathogen. Buxus Suffruticosa may be the most susceptible cultivar and Buxus sempervirens is also susceptible. At present, there are no known chemicals to control it. Join Chuan Hong of the Hampton Roads Research Station and Kelly Ivors of NCSU, state and local nursery professionals and representatives from BASF and Syngenta at this meeting.
