Meet Us
Green foliage with red tips turns wine-colored in the fall. An underused native species with open, airy blooms that are beautiful in dried flower arrangements. Very drought tolerant once established.
‘Richard’ has unique rounded foliage with an indentation at the tip almost creates a heart shaped leaf. At first glance, it’s unusual shaped foliage and glossy texture make ‘Richard’ easily mistaken as a non-boxwood. The plant’s habit is very vase shaped and slightly wider than tall. It is part of the harlandii family of boxwood that are thought to have come from southeast Asia or China. Deer resistant.
'Phenomenal' is aptly named for superior fragrance, uniform mounding plant habit, resistance to disease and extreme tolerance to heat and humidity. Equally beautiful planted in mass, in the perennial border or in patio containers.
Vigorous with larger than usual two-toned amber flowers that dance on thin stems in spring while small heart-shaped leaves emerge with a rosy blush.
