Meet UsAn excellent summer performer, producing an abundance of golden-yellow flowers from mid-summer until fall. Foliage is much more disease resistant than the species.
Erect, deciduous, multi-stemmed, rounded shrub with lustrous, dark green foliage. Throughout the winter abundant clusters of large red fruit will maintain its intense color. Needs male pollinator 'Southern Gentleman'.
Classic boxwood beauty with good overall insect and disease resistance. Deer resistant! Deep green boxwood holds its rich color all winter. Strong branching structure withstands most snow loads. Use in formal designs where a medium-sized plant is desired and as substitute for English Boxwood in foundation plantings.
Prune lightly in late winter to early spring to maintain uniform shape. If fall frosts burn new growth, clip off in early winter. Thinning is not necessary. Space plants to ensure good air movement and apply a light layer of mulch annually.
All boxwood cultivars show some level of susceptibility to boxwood blight under extreme circumstances.

Selected due to good overall insect and disease resistance. Relative vigor creates an attractive plant quicker than many cultivars. Annual pruning is a must for this fabulous specimen.
Prune annually from late winter to early spring. If unpruned, NewGen Freedom® will open up in the center, especially in spring with vigorous new shoots. Thinning is not necessary. Few disease or pest issues when planted and cared for properly.
